Creyke Road car park - parents and caregivers only
This is a dedicated car park for parents and caregivers, providing a ‘safe zone’ for boys using the Creyke Road gate. There is a traffic management plan which includes the School’s Road Patrol monitors. Your assistance and understanding with the traffic management around the School is much appreciated, as the boys' safety is paramount for us all.
Please follow these guidelines for an efficient drop off and pickup process:
- In the morning, ensure your son has his gear ready for a quick exit from the car if using the ‘drop zone’ on the left hand side of the car park. You can angle park briefly on the right- hand side of the car park.
- Encourage your son to enter the school independently to prepare for the school day.
- In the afternoon, we ask Years 1 and 2 parents to exit the car park to make room for the 3.20pm arrivals if you are not waiting for an older sibling.
- Encourage your son to leave his classroom by himself in the afternoon. Some parents arrange to meet their son on Clyde or Creyke Road.
- If you need to meet with your son’s teacher, please park on Clyde Road or Creyke Road and walk in with your son for this purpose.
Clyde Road entrance
The Clyde Road entrance is for pedestrian use only, for the safety of boys and parents. Please do not park across the driveway or turn into the entrance when dropping off your son. This also applies to the staff car park on Clyde Road which is for staff only.
Please feel free to contact the School office if you have any questions, office@medbury.school.nz.
